Girls' Generation, EXO, INFINITE And More Perform As Part Of All-Star Lineup For 70th Anniversary Korean Liberation Concert At The DMZ

The holiday is celebrated on August 15 in both North and South Korea and marks the end of the Japanese occupation of the Korean Peninsula.
A whole host of popular K-pop acts attended the
music festival, also known as the 2015 DMZ Peace Concert, to perform their latest
hit songs to a crowd of about 8,000 fans near the North and South Korean border.

The Koren Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) is a strip of land running across the Korean Peninsula that was set up in the aftermath of fighting between the two sides during the Korean War.

It serves as a de facto border between the two nations and a symbol of reunification and ongoing negotiations among the two sides. Check out all the great performances below.
